2 Lbs Stew Meat

¾ Cup Flour

1 Tsp Garlic Powder

1 Tsp Paprika

2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

1 Onion, quartered

1 Tsp Salt

1 Garlic Clove, minced

2 Cups Beef Broth

1 Tsp Lemon Juice

1 Tsp Sugar

1 Tsp Worcestershire

½ Tsp Pepper

½ Tsp Paprika

1-2 Bay Leaves

Dash Allspice

Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Tony’s Chacere, to taste

3-6 Carrots, cut into pieces

3-6 Medium Potatoes, cut into pieces

½ Cup Cold Water

¼ Cup Flour


Combine flour, paprika and garlic powder in bowl.

Season stew meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder, Tony’s or seasoning of your choice. Place seasoned beef in large bowl.

Pour flour mixture into bowl and mix well to completely coat all of the stew meat.

In a large skillet, heat oil. Once hot, add some of the stew meat and cook until brown on all sides. Remove and continue with this process until all meat is browned. Transfer all browned beef to crock pot.

Add remaining ingredients to crock pot except for the ½ cup water and ¼ cup flour. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. About 30 minutes before serving, mix together flour and water and add to the pot. Cook until thickened. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
